Pia1913 Posted October 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2011 I can't find a list of prices for dry cleaning on the ship does any one know how much to dry clean a suit $10.00 a dress $9.50 a pair of slacks $5.00 wash a man's shirt $3.50 just easier to have them done on the ship than to have them wrinkled ina suitcase, lol thanks carol The dress quote is for regular dress. Evening dresses are $11.50. Also, man's formal shirt is $4.25; more than the quote I gave you for a regular shirt.
Bowie MeMe Posted October 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2011 Thanks Pia for the specifics. I use the laundry/dry cleaning services for men's shirts, long pants (especially ones that need pressing), and the occasional blouse that needs ironing (which means it only goes on the one cruise:p). My thought is that it is about the price I pay at home on the corner. I find that the laundry rooms are great for t-shirts, underclothes etc. Carry Purrell 3-1 sheets and a stain stick and get coins from casino or purser desk. Remember that the laundry room on Plaza deck is usually the least used (the art gallery does not produce alot of laundry:p) I would caution that you be careful with the irons in laundry room -- passengers sometimes melt stuff onto the irons and say nothing. My DH also hates to have suit pressed in laundry room because there is glitter on the ironing boards. I just hand his suit to the steward the first day and have "press only" if it looks totally bad otherwise I tell him to keep on moving and his body heat will do the job!;) I've always been pleased with the service -- especially when it is hanging beautiful in the closet while I sit by the pool. somogirl Posted October 15, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2011 I sent a jacket to be dry cleaned and I got it backed "pressed only" and it was dirty. They said they don't dry clean.

But they do "clean" as the price list below shows Recent pricing

You might have accidentally ticked the press only line, because they definitely do clean.
