Mifi on Carnival?

Has anyone used a personal mifi on Carnival.

I have never used one but I would imagine that it would work but you would be paying a huge amount for the data charges. you would be better off going with the ships wifi.

Your MiFi is using cell phone technology. If you have cell phone reception, it will work. But...as previous poster suggested it will be costly.

The international will only work in ports. On the ship you are on the ship's signal - Cellular At Sea - and it is pricey for data...

I work for att and the international data plan is OUTRAGEOUS. $$24.99 for 50 mbs. Don't use it!!!!!

The mifi works great, but as stated before it's expensive my bill was almost $400.

I would not as it does go threw ships cell at sea. And that is pricey.

the data on the mifi will help with your bill if you are international or on land. to get any signal at sea you need to use the ships tower and they charge you for that.

So I just use it when I'm in port. Sounds great. I like to hear from the kiddos while sipping hot chocolate in my pajamas! I'm not a early bird quite yet. LOL
