I read on an old post that you can bring these on the airplane for free. does anyone know if this is still true.. we are flying Americand from FYL to LAX next month and will need to bring a few cases on our Panama transist cruise.. we thought we had to ship them.. but bringing them for free would be better..

Here is the TSA's policy for travelers with disabilities: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/specialneeds/editorial_1059.shtm

Liquid nutrition is clearly listed so you should definitely be able to take it past the security checkpoint.

You'll be bringing a lot, though, so I'm not sure how that will work. I would call the airline and see what they suggest. Maybe you could gate check it, or maybe they would allow you to check it at no cost at the ticket counter.
