jo797 Posted October 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2011 I am trying to decide on which specialty restaurants to book ahead. We are 6 people 2 teens, my husband and myself and my parents. Two of us are vegetarians. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Rare ghstudio Posted October 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2011 The best help I can give you is to either use the search function here....or just read the titles of the threads and you'll find more than you ever want to read on this topic. The special restaurants are talked about at least every other day....
gelo7 Posted October 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2011 I liked Tuscany Grill.
We're The Groupnors Posted October 12, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2011 Given that there are two vegetarians in the party I would suggest looking at the menus from each restaurant and deciding from there. You can find them on the Celebrity website under Onboard/Dining/Specialty Dining. Then scroll down and click on the restaurant to access the menus. Lsimon Posted October 12, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 12, 2011 Tuscan grill probably has a menu which would appeal to the broadest group of people. Murano's is on the more elegant and Quisine is a big departure from the norm. Quisine probably has something for everyone but it is a very unique experiance that some might not enjoy. Personally, I'd recommend trying all three. Here are links to a menu from Tuscan Grille: http://simon-pics.smugmug.com/Cruises/Cruise-Ship-Rooms-and-Features/Menus-and-Information/4467773_4p4D3X#1205123738_WKhrE The Murano's menu is on the two photos preceding the above. There are two as they have a standard ala carte menu and a second, "Five Senses" menu which includes a wine pairing but has an extra cost. These were from last February but the menu's for next season will likely be the same or very similar. If there is nothing on the menu that appeals to you, from a vegetarian standpoint, then stop by the restuarant the day before and ask what other vegetarian dishes they can do for you. It is likely they'll have others they can do with a 24 hour notice. Same for other dietary issues.
vvnh16a Posted October 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 12, 2011 You are very fortunate to have one of Celebrity's BEST Resturant Manager's (Ship Maitre D') on-board with Cemal Ozcelik. Cemal is a hands on manager and shows all staff by setting an example. He personally has helped carry trays for ladies in our party during afternoon lunch, and you will frequently see him on the main dining room floor meeting with the Assistant Maitre d's or just mingling among the guests. CathyCruises Posted October 12, 2011 #7 Share Posted October 12, 2011 Qsine, no Qestion!!! Something for every palate and a super fun experience that all will enjoy. You may want to visit the restaurant prior to your reservation just to go over the vegetarian choices but they definitey have some. Best hummus I have ever had. This is the perfect size group to enjoy all that Qsine offers. You can find a Murano or Tuscan Grill anywhere, but there is no other experience like this one!
