Driving to San Francisco

We are booked on the Princess Star cruise to Mexico in April 2012 and will be driving to San Francisco. We have usually had to fly to catch a cruise so this will be a nice break for us. Any ideas about parking, motels, etc would be helpful. Plan on arriving the day prior to departure.

Here is a link to the SF port - cruise website. There is a link for parking which is about a block from pier 35 and a couple of blocks from Pier 27.

 

Sorry can't help you on the hotel/motel since we live local and never stay in SF.

We just stayed at the BW Tuscan Inn at Fisherman's Wharf.

We really liked it.
