I may be wrong here but I have the feeling that this area is pretty calm - certainly when we went (Feb) I don't remember any rough seas at all. You have two nights in two of the ports too (Aqaba and Safaga) so no travel those particular nights. On balance I think you spend much less time at sea on this cruise than any of the other Thomson itineraries.

 

I do remember the glass-bottomed boat trip at Hurgada being a bit choppy (some people did feel sick on that so perhaps an excursion your wife may not want to do) - but that was a small craft caught up in the currents around the coral reefs.

 

Perhaps others will have a different experience but I think perhaps this might the cruise where you were least likely to have such problems.

We chose the red sea for our first one for the same reason, and it was fine. you certainly have a better chance on the red sea than say the med. Last week on the destiny the sea day was rough and the drill had to be done inside

We did this trip in November and also March - no problems at all.
