Coba vs Tulum

We are going to Cozumel with Carnival. For Mayan Ruins which is better...

Tulum or Coba Ruins

We are going to go through Carnival since it will be a long excursion but want to know which you recommend and why. Thanks everyone!!;)

Coba by a landslide. Tulum is right on the ocean and much smaller than Coba. Coba is amazing and they have a pyramid which is still open to climb, if you wish. Coba is much bigger. You can rent bikes for your tour there which I recommend. They do have "mexican taxis" which is someone riding the bike for you and you sit in the front on a little seat. They can be a little slow since there will likely be two of you per bike. Coba will be a full day, Tulum will not since its closer and much smaller.
