Boarding time and Lifeboat drill on 11:00 PM departure?

We are sailing on Century to Hawaii, Nov. 1. This cruise leaves Ensenada at 11:00 PM. What has been the usual procedure for lifeboat drill? I thought I had read once that they do it the following morning?? Also, at what time do they usually allow boarding to begin on a cruise with a late evening departure?

Our cruise officially boards at 4:00PM, however most cruises board earlier than the published time. That said it must be remembered that the Century has to sail from San Diego to Ensenada that same day after disembarking its passengers from the previous cruise.

The published sailing time is 11:59PM. I can remember years ago when Celebrity's cruises out of San Juan left in the late evening -the safety drill took place mid evening after the time all passengers were required to be on board.

Hope this helps. Tim
