Daghis Posted October 24, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2011 How often do the various cruise casino clubs offer free cruises? Now that I've joined Club Royale, I received an invitation for a free cruise on the Jewel of the Seas along with an invitation to their slot tournament. I'm curious how often these generally come up. If I lived closer to Tampa, I'd love to be able to drive there and take a quick 4-day cruise that's "complimentary" (there are taxes and fees that would need to be paid). Once I add in the airfare and potentially a hotel stay for the night before, the "complimentary" cruise can still add up to a fair bit, certainly making it not free. cb at sea Posted October 25, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2011 If you gamble enough, they will offer you a cruise at times.....of course, by reason of the gambling expense, it's not "free"...your gambling loses are paying for the cruise! Perhaps they'll offer you a cruise out of NY/NJ/Balt....somewhere within easy driving distance! Good luck!
popsec Posted October 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2011 We actually received a comped suite on an 8 day cruise out of NY in Aug...didn't even have to pay taxes or port fees. Usually we get offers but are already booked withing the time frame....

evergladesgator Posted October 26, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 26, 2011 Yes. When dw called to find out about the Jan. cruise on the Valor she explained that we were just getting off the Miracle in Jan. and asked about the next cruise being we were looking to sail again in April and they said it would be in April out of Baltimore. Don't remember the name of the ship though. Too far for us:( being we live maybe 20 minutes from Port Everglades:) or Port of Miami.:) Give em a call. Spoke to my guy at Carnival and unofficially it'll be the splendor out of CA in March and probably the Pride out of Baltimore in May....we'll see when they officially come out with them....
