fraud alert from cc/

When i just now went to cc i got a suspicious activity fraud alert apparently from cc, wanted me to click on to view my credit report. Sounded red flag to me, i ignored it. Anyone else get this, i am on cc every day

I would have forwarded it to one of the hosts or community managers.

i've been having problems with a post called What is your favorite domestic port of departurre?

 

but i've given up reporting these things. we end up get yelled at for not having our virus and spyware programs updated.

Using Firefox, I've installed several add-ons for blocking annoying pop-ups, but the best thing so far is the "Stylish" add-on. Admittedly, it's for geeks. If you know a little bit about website stylesheets, you can turn off and on features so certain parts of a website never show up. Other aspects can be styled to look exactly as you want. I don't have to put up with bizarre font choices, annoying graphics, or in-your-face advertisements (including spamvertisments).

I saw the post but have not seen the email. I figure I can get my credit rating at my bank- why would CC be offering it? The people who send these things out are not always the smartest.

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T OPEN The E-mail.......or if you open it DON'T GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO, CC #'S, and such!!!
