Diamond Head to be closed

Access to the crater and Diamond Head will be closed from 6pm 11 November till 6am 14 November.

This closure is due to the APEC Summit coming to town. In addition, there will be many road and highway closures and even a few beach closures. There will be quite a few headaches for a few days!!

I know most of this does not make sense to visitors, but it will at least give you a general idea of the time frame involved. Pehaps some nice relaxing beach time just lying around on Waikiki Beach would be the perfect way to avoid the traffic problems!
