In Port Canaveral, what is a reasonable tip for porters? We'll have 4 decent sized suitcases that we will check with them. Thanks!

I have heard that the "rule of thumb" is $1.00 a bag. I usually give them around $2.00 a bag, mostly because I'm so glad to have them take my bags away so I don't have to handle them anymore. Nancy

They like $2 a bag, but some old school say $1 a bag.. or somewhere in between. $5 for 4 good sized bags?

I give them a buck a bag. A ll they do is take our bag and put it on a cart and than grab onto the next passenger.

 

The people doing the work do not get the tips unfortunately.
