future cruise credit

We have a future cruise credit we purchased on our last cruise. We are trying to find out how we can (if possible) max our obc.

 

The future cruise credit come with $100 obc plus we have a saving cert that will get us a $65 credit.

 

We are wondering if we book our trip directly with royal (to get the above credits) can we then move our booking to an agent that is offer obc. If we do this would we get all of the credits?

I believe it can only be trasferred in the first 60 days............but I can't be sure, try calling Crown & Anchor

As long as you have a "Next Cruise Booking Certificate", and did not book a specific cruise, you are able to transfer to a TA and get all of the credits, plus whatever additional perks they offer. We did that two weeks ago with a booking certificate we purchased on our Alaskan cruise last summer.

A TA should be able to get you your future cruise OBC as well as any savings certificates on top of any OBC offered by the TA. You can book with RCI and transfer (I believe we have confirmed it is 60 days after declaring a sailing) as long as the sailing is not past final payment.

reading what has been written it almost sounds like we could take the fcc straight to a ta and not have to book with rci first and then transfer.

 

if anyone has done this or is a ta (or knows a good one) could you pleased advise.

Yes, you can transfer your next cruise to a TA before you select a specific cruise. If you can't locate the transfer form on RCI's website, (I couldn't), call and they will walk you thru' printing it. Fill it out and fax back to RCI. The transfer will take about 48 hours.
