Star WebCam Broke, Or is It Some Other Problem?

The bridge cam for the Star on the Krooz.cam.com site has been stuck on Friday, April 9, at 06:33:40 since I checked that site on Friday at about 10 pm CDST! Is the problem with the web site, the camera, or is the Star having some other difficulty? Is there any way we can find out about this?

The Star's recent/current mechanical difficulties cause every little mishap to become suspicious. As a cruiser hoping to sail on this ship next week, I really hope this problem is minor; which is easily and quickly corrected.

Can anyone ease my concern over this situation? Please let us hear from you!!

I have been looking everyday and noticed the same thing! I go to NCL's website to view the webcam and noticed that the other ships were current, only the Star was not! I am as worried as you are and am waiting any of this past weeks cruisers to start reporting on cruise critic! Again, I won't believe this cruise until I am on the ship! I keep my fingers crossed and be as positive as possible! Good luck on your cruise, we go 4-25!

Last month the NCL cams weren't up to date and some folk suggested that NCL was going under

I highly doubt that's the case!

I was on the Star last week...the 4th to the 11th. The camera itself is definitely working. We were in an inside cabin, and the tv tuned to the bridge cam channel was our window for the week.

I'm sorry it's stuck for you folks...but I like being able to look at it knowing the I was on the ship when that frame was captured!!!!

The bridge cam may be stuck, but I saw the Star in Kona's harbor yesterday, so I think everything is going fine!! Never fear...

Sweetemi:

As usual you come thru again! Thanks for the calming words.

I just finished reading Seawishes review of the Star cruise that ended on 4/11, so, appartently, the cam is just stuck somehow! Mahalo to you folks that answered this newbies panic question. WE WILL BE IN HAWAII NEXT WEEK!! Aloha for now.
