Tuesday sale and upgrading?

With a Tuesday sale can you upgrade with the sale price? I would have to pay about $400 more with the sale price of today and yesterday it would have been $1100 more to upgrade. We are in a C1 aft and we are looking at upgrading to a Celebrity Suite on the Summit which I know doesn't have a veranda as of right now.

My understanding is no, you can not upgrade an existing booking by utilizing pricing on a Tuesday sale that is specified for new bookings only.

My understanding is the same as Gonzo's. I even asked one time and was told that you couldn't upgrade. The Tuesday specials are for new bookings only.

Yup, Tuesday deals are for new bookings only so you typically cannot upgrade.

 

You can always ask your TA to try for it, but it's a long shot.
