Karanja Posted November 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2011 We will be arriving back at Bayonne's Cape Liberty Cruise Port on Sunday after a two-nighter aboard Celeb Silhouette. We want a taxi for a short ride to either the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail station at 34th Street (about two miles) or the PATH station at Journal Square (a bit further). Will local taxis be available at a reasonable price, realizing that most cabs at the cruise treminal will want to take people to EWR at a whopping rate? Thank you for your help. CruisingChick Posted November 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2011 Yes, we just got off Summit in Bayonne on October 23rd and we saw plenty of taxis available as we were walking to our car. When you exit the terminal building take a left and walk towards the parking area. Right before you exit there will be an area where the taxis will be lined up and you can catch one there. There should be a sign just before you exit the terminal building that will direct you towards the taxis. Not sure what the rates our for the taxis in Bayonne, but aren't they regulated so they are not outrageous?

CruisingChick Posted November 2, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2011 Hi Sarah, It was great. The crew was terrific and the service very good. We had a nice two weeks, although the weather was 50/50. We had some really great days and then 3 days of RAIN. But what can you do? At least it's dry in the martini bar.
