i know this is crazy but ive had this dream about 5 times and just wonder if anyone else ever had a similar one?

I'm on my way home from a cruise, on the plane, in the terminal, and suddenly i realize...i forgot to pack!..I have NO luggage, passport, money, OR recollection of what happened that last day that made me forget! WHAT does it mean?

It means that you need to immediately book a cruise.

The adventure of life is more important to you than the details of life, i.e., you'd rather keep your eyes on the horizon than on the road.

This was not a dream. This ACTUALLY happened! I was on that ship!

1) you drank WAAAAAAAY TOO MUCH on the last night and started tipping EVERYONE! you were screaming out "SC?EW AUTO TIPPING. DOLLARS FOR EVERYONE!"

2) after which you went to the casino and bet EVERYTHING you had except for the clothes you were wearing. You even tried to get table chips with your passport, but had that confiscated immediately!

you would have remembered more, but upon debarkation 2 NCL staff (in black) asked you to "please look at the light".

Albertiger,

Please accept my apologies as I was joking with the Nittany Lion..

Pebbles has often told me I had a knack for interpreting dreams, so my earlier post is my honest opinion.

The plane/cruise trip is symbolic of your life journey, and the fact that you don't have any luggage/passports etc means you are concerned about not paying attention to the details in your life, or that you are sub-consciously forgetting them or leaving them behind, thus the comment that you are focused on the horizon and not on the road.

Examine your life and look to see if you are really worried about something (taxes, money, marriage, work, church) and REALLY focus on getting that issue resolved. You might even be able to correlate the start of the dreams with the start of the problem...or when the burden of the problem became unbearable.

If this doesn't help, prayer will!!

I know nothing about dreams but don't worry, I am sure nobody ever forget to pack for a cruise (I did my packing list about 6 months in advance, corrected it at least 6 times, tried ALL my clothes and find the best way to match them, packed my suitcase once, just to check if all the clothes would fit in the suitcase, unpacked and repacked the day of departure)... I know, I need help! :P

Albertiger,

I don't know what your dream means, but whatever it means, my dream must mean the exact opposite. icon_biggrin.gif

In my dream, I am walking my way TO the ship, rolling my packed suitcase behind me. The "missing" part is that I realize that we haven't planned a cruise critic get together for onboard and I hope we made a contact list. icon_rolleyes.gif

I had this recurring dream before my last cruise.

I met someone at the pool named Lester who was a very friendly but LOUD Texan - Lester Longhorn.

He ended up INSISTING that my family and I join him, and his family, one night for dinner. When he escorted us to his table, his family was the Beverly Hillbillies!! Except for a boy who looked exactly like a miniature version of his father and was named Lester Jr.

The other details of the dream are funny but unimportant. But listen to this.....

We had a day at Discovery Cove booked the day before the cruise. My daughter and I get into the lagoon with our group and listen attentatively to our group's assigned marine mammal specialist.

She introduces "our dolphin" and his name is LESTER!!! My daughter and I couldn't stop laughing!! The rest of the group and the instructor were not pleased with our spontaneous and uncontrollable response.

This really happened!

We DID NOT meet a Lester or any other obnoxious Texans on the cruise ship but 3 years later my duaghter can still tell the whole "Mom's Cruise Dream Story".

People told me, at that time, that the recurring dreams were stress related too - probably just regarding "unknown territory" 1st ever cruise and logistics of multiple pre cruise arrangements.

Now I have a 12 day cruise departing in just over 60 days, and another 8 days of land vacationing. No weird cruise dreams - yet!

Relax Albertiger - your dream may have no more meaning than a similar pleasant outcome like I had. Some people work out their stress, some people dream it out.

Your cruise will be super either way!

Tina
