Grand Cayman private boat hire at dock??

We'll be in Grand Cayman next Wednesday, I was looking into chartering a boat to take us out and about for a 1/2 day snorkeling and whatever (4 adults..3 kids 8, 5 and 3) . Having a tough time getting a consensus and was wondering if private charters will be available at the docks when we arrive.

I do not want to go to stingray city, every tour I see goes there. On my last cruise I learned that I am terrified of sting rays..who knew??

I'm looking for the same thing...snorkel with no stingrays. Hope someone has an answer. We are even looking for a private charter, thanks in advance.

Not sure of the availability for private charters at the tender area, so I'd suggest you book ahead if you really want a private charter.

I've contacted a couple of the private charters, really pricey though unless we hook up with some folks to share the load..havent heard back yet and times awasting..we leave tomorrow ..will let you know, oneplug..if we manage to find anything stingrayless
