dvmvet Posted November 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2011 We are taking a cruise in early December on Allure and will be hitting Cozume l, Falmouth and Labadee. Can anyone recommend decent wifi places in these ports of call? Also, can anyone comment on wifi on the ship itself? My husband will need it - how much can we expect for cost? When we were on the Freedom last February it was pretty costly, but a necessary evil. Thank you!

MrChuckFL Posted November 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2011 No wifi in Labadee and we did not find any in Falmouth. Cozumel has plenty of wifi. Most of the bars and beach clubs there offer it, usually you have to ask for the password. We usually take a cab down to Paradise Beach Club or Mr. Sanchos and hang out there. Get a bucket of beer on the beach and catch up on emails while watching the waves roll in.

dvmvet Posted November 6, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted November 6, 2011 Ok Where do we purchase the packages - from RCI before the trip? thanks!
MrChuckFL Posted November 6, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 6, 2011 Im pretty sure you can't pre purchase internet. You will need to go to the internet cafe on board and get signed up there. They will help create an account so you can logon to the wireless.
alexkrn46 Posted November 6, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 6, 2011 You have to go down to the internet cafe and set up an account, at that time you can choose the package. Internet tends to be very very slow. Count on spending your time waiting for pages to load.
