GLCAS Posted November 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2011 How would be the best way to get from the cruise port to the water taxi? We are on a B2B and thought we might try out the water taxi for fun to look at all the millionaires houses for entertainment. Would it be very complicated? Thanks for your help.:)
bills blasters Posted November 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2011 The closest stop is just a mile away. 17th street, under the bridge. But, the Taxi does not start until 10:00. It takes over 2 and half hours to make the entire loop. Suppose that would give you enough time to get back on the ship. You Hilton Hotel that is right next door and catch a taxi there. mfeenker Posted November 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 9, 2011 It's not complicated at all, Princess normally use terminal 1 or 2 which is the closest to 17th ST. As mentioned the Water Taxi doesn't begin till 10:00 so once you get your new Sign and Sail card you could actually walk to the 17th St bridge stop. I attached a photo of the area, #1 is where the Ruby should be and #2 is the 17th St water taxi stop. it is a good excursion, you may want to take a taxi back to the ship. SJSULIBRARIAN Posted November 9, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 9, 2011 We did this last year - took a ground taxi to the Hilton Hotel and caught the Water Taxi there. On a sunny day, it is a spectacular ride. Then caught a ground taxi back to the cruise port.
