Restaurants Near Hollywood Marriott

I don't have first hand experience with any of them, but there's a cluster of various restaurants about a half mile south of your hotel, mostly on the Broadwalk side, facing the water. If you go to the map linked below, many of the restaurants are labelled, and you can search for info on them. I'm sure others here will have specific recommendations.

Le Tub for some great burgers. It is about a 1/4 mile down on the opposite side of the street. On our first visit to Hollywood beach we passed by it and couldn't imagine what it was like. Then I saw it mentioned by a frequent poster from the area.

Down even further is a GG formally Giorgio's Grill. New owners but menu looks just as yummy. We will try it again next month.

We walked to both of these places from the Marriot.

Like Dan said, there are plenty more informal places to eat right next door.

Thanks so much for the restaurant recommendations. We will definitely look into those you both mentioned. This will be our first time staying in the Hollywood area, so it's nice to have some input on the surrounding area.

As mentioned above, Le Tub and GG's (Giorgio's Grill) are two very good places. My fave spot is Giorgio's Bakery, which is right next door to GG's. Excellent food and very reasonably priced (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Taverna Opa and Billy's Stone Crab are also next to these places. Note: these places are on the Intracoastal side, across from the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, and have outdoor waterside dining.

Along the Broadwalk itself, the Marriott does have a restaurant outside. There are lots of very inexpensive eateries as well ... pizza, Greek, Turkish, burgers, etc., not to mention, an number of "watering holes" with some live music.
