RLM77 Posted April 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2005 My husband and I will be on the Seven Seas Mariner Alaska cruise (RSSC) in June and I wondered how difficult it is to disembark for the various excursions that involve another vessel, ie Tracy Arm or Mistyt Fjords. I have MS and use a cane and worry alot.:) Any thoughts? Thanks
kitty9 Posted April 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2005 Are you talking about the smaller tour boats that are used for whale watching and the like? Not a problem at all. They have very wide ramps that go right into the boats from the local dock. You will have to board a bus to get to the loading ramps for those tours, but it's not a big problem getting onto the boats.
RLM77 Posted April 8, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted April 8, 2005 Hi Kitty, Thanks for responding. The description of the excursion is below: The adventure begins as soon as you board a luxurious, high-speed catamaran directly from the Seven Seas Mariner. It sure sounds as if you somehow board the catamaran from the ship. Ulp!
