How do you access the room safe? Sun Princess

Hi all, I'm about to take my first Princess cruise. Can you tell me please, how does the room safe operate. (I've only been on HAL Volendam before, where you had to swipe your credit card to open the safe.)

When you enter the cabin the safe will b e open close it and choose a 4 digit number which you enter and with the hash then this number with the hash will open it again When you disembark you leave the safe open and the next person does the same
