FrankinPA Posted November 17, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2011 Probably select dining. That gives more flexibility. There will probably be more Europeans on the ship and they will prefer to each late in most cases. But select gives them that option without locking them into a certain time at a certain table. thejman Posted November 17, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2011 I would guess late seating since many people are unfamiliar with or skeptical about select dining. On my upcoming South American cruise, late seating was gone 5 months ago, and select dining is still available.
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2011 It may vary. On a port intensive cruise the late dining might close out first. Keith
c-legs Posted November 18, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 18, 2011 I agree with Keith1010....port intensive and mostly late sailaways , plus a noticeable proportion of guests from European countries ( mostly used to mid-evening dinners ) == late seating will go first, ( and select dining not long after. ) Cheers
Rare vickykay Posted November 18, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 18, 2011 On our Baltic cruise, late seating was closer to 9:00 - diners did not leave until almost 11 (mostly Europeans) .
