nancyfancy40 Posted November 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2011 So I think I have this right, from reading all the past threads I can on FCC's. We will be on the Miracle this coming Jan, plan to book another cruise will on board. I think I have it straight, so correct me if I am wrong. I have to put down a deposit, but then for the remaning balance I can buy FCC's as I want towards the balance. For every FCC I buy at 200., I will get 200 OBC is that correct? Hope I got it straight, if not, please correct me. Also, looking at two cruises one goes to Half Moom Bay the other Nasauu, with is the better of the two? Nancy Here's a link to info on the FCC http://www.carnival.com/Funville/blogs/faqs/archive/2010/09/02/what-is-the-loyalty-and-cruise-vacation-program.aspx You buy the certificate for $100 go home book a cruise, do the online form for the certificate~ http://www.carnival.com/cms/requestforms/futurevacationcert.html you get the $100 off your final price of the cruise~ You get OBC amounts from $50 -$200 depending on the length of the cruise~ $50.00 per stateroom on a 3/4/5 day cruise • $75.00 per stateroom on a 6-day cruise • $100.00 per stateroom on a 7-9 day cruise • $200.00 per stateroom on 12 day or longer cruises Single occupancy receive half of the on board credit **This has changed so a single occupancy nows receives the full OBC~
firefly333 Posted November 17, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2011 FCCs cost $100, not $200. you cant buy one for $200. the OBC depends on the length of the cruise. You can either book onboard or bring the FCC home to use it.
kiraryker Posted November 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2011 Is there a time limit for when to enter the info after booking your cruise or can you do it anytime?
serene56 Posted November 17, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2011 Is there a time limit for when to enter the info after booking your cruise or can you do it anytime? 2 years. then the FCC expires. You can only use one certificate Unless you and your spouse will be cruising with someone else. then you can use two.

You can, however, request a refund anytime before the FCC expires if you can't use it.

I think it depends on whos name is on the FFC~ is it both of your names or just yours or hubbys? If they are in both of your names I *think* you can use them as long as you are in one cabin and DH is in the other cabin(for booking purposes only) if they are both in his name or your name only then no I don't not believe so, because the person who's name appears on the FCC has to be booked into that cabin~hopefully someone who's used them in this situation will chime in here~
