pilotboy1985 Posted November 20, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2011 Hey Everyone! I'm on Mariner Of The Seas which arrives in Grand Cayman on Nov. 30th. According to the RCCL.com website it says ARRIVE 10am DEPART: 6pm. Is this telling me I will arrive 10am local time, or 10am ship time? Since the cruise leaves from Texas, that means that ship time will be one hour BEHIND Grand Cayman. I'm trying to book a Shore Excursion so trying to figure out if I can make it comfortably. Also, while we're on the topic, what time is last tender usually? if it departs at 6pm I'd assume 5:30pm would be last tender?

pilotboy1985 Posted November 20, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted November 20, 2011 All times are ship time Thanks! After I posted this I got an idea.... check the Grand Cayman port website and see what time it says there.. http://www.caymanport.com/shipschedules_details.php?id=52101 It's saying 10am-6pm, which would be local time since i'm viewing the Grand Cayman Port Authority. Now I don't know which one is correct. RCCL.com or caymanport.com
AlanAllyn Posted November 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2011 The ship might change time to local time; I've had it both ways on RCI.

cb at sea Posted November 20, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 20, 2011 Ship's time is the ONLY time......that's all that matters! We've been on cruises where they change the ship's time to match local time, and on ships when they don't change the time....so before you leave the ship, check the clock at the exit and make sure you know what time the SHIP says it is!!!!
