BOS103 Posted November 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2011 Anyone ever have 7 days of rain on their cruise?
will773 Posted November 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2011 I've had it rain at some point during the day, but never for 7 days straight and certainly not all day long.
Cigar King Posted November 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2011 You can't prevent the bad weather (we have had our share of it) but you can be prepared. Bring a waterproof jacket an umbrella, and perhaps a hat. Why let a little rain spoil your vacation?
Marie51 Posted November 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2011 Sort of. It was a Southern Caribbean route in October. It rained 5 days out of 7, and I am talking about rain all day, not just an afternoon sprinkle.
Sequim88 Posted November 21, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2011 I am sure there are many Alaska cruisers who have had a full week of rain/drizzle 24 hours a day. In Caribbean it is very likely to get rain at least some time on most days so seven in a row would not be unusual but very not so often all day there. Usually only a few minutes then gone. We had at least seven days with at least a little rain on our 12nt transatlantic.
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 21, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2011 I've had it happen in Alaska. Keith
