Just read about this on the CC site review of the Fascination, we would very much like to do this? As anyone experienced it? feedback? also how do you book it? do you have to wait and book on board? or can you book ahead of time?

I did it on the Legend. I booked before hand through John's blog I think. It was 3 1/2 hours, too long for me, but I was seated next to a boring woman who talked the whole time about renting a houseboat in Paris. Food was great except for a salad. The bass was the best I've ever had.

If they institute the neew menu filet and bass won't be on it. I wouldn't do it in that case.

Waiters kept filling wine glasses.

To reserve ahead of time, go to http://johnhealdsblog.com/ask-john/

and select Chef's Table requests as a subject.

Provide your name, ship, sail date, names and cabin numbers of the participants.

With the exception of location, the experience is about the same on any ship.

Cost per person is $75.00, paid on your S&S card after the meal.
