Coral - play area on aloha deck aft?

Can anyone tell me what is at the back of the Aloha Deck on the Coral? I am considering on booking B734 and am concerned if the children's play area is above. I seems it could be part of the sanctuary now?

The play area is still in place, its one level below the sanctuary.

 

That said, the entire Panama Canal run on the island it was never used once, with only 15 kids on board.

Thank you! Seems silly the play area would be beside the "sanctuary" pool! We are going at Christmas…there were approx 200 kids last time we went…not many, but they can still make noise overhead!

Also…are the play areas on both port and starboard sides? On the princess website it looks like this is now the sanctuary on the port side????

It's on both sides, underneath the sanctuary deck. The former pelican pool if s a few steps down from that deck and a few steps up from the play area. And yeah, I thought it was kind of strange too but with no kids, no way to judge any noise factor.

I was on the Coral in June. I do not remember a play area... I do remember the Sanctuary though!

 

There were a ton of kids on our sailing- strange for Alaska. They all bombarded the indoor pool.
