Cabin 10013 on NCL Spirit

Hi All,

 

First time poster here. We are booked in cabin 10013 inside fwd for Jan 2012. I read that decks 9/10 are some of the best on the ship due to the penthouses and have the best stewards. Has anyone stayed either in this room or on these decks and could you tell me about your experience? What can we expect if we have some of the best stewards? Will we get the same treatment as the penthouses etc? Thanks.

You might have some bad information. Room stewards are assigned groups of rooms. You may or may not have a steward that services the suites. It doesn't matter. The stewards only make up the rooms, i.e. make the beds and clean. Butlers and concierge take care of the guests in the suites. Those insides will be the same as any other inside. No extra perks. Sorry. As to location, it is fine, way forward and can have some motion in rough seas.

We recently sailed in 10026, a balcony and had a steward names Dave. He was great. Funny and very accomodating towards us. Great lad.

 

We felt quite a lot of motion but other than that we were happy with the location.
