  1. So is he going to be acting up as General Manager on the Spirit while Armando Da Silva is on leave? All I know is that Armando said "Carlos" no other name specified would be General Manager/Hotel Director when we sail on 14th June 2019. Armando is due to return to the Spirit as General Manager in August
  2. Armando goes on leave 31st May to be replaced by Carlos. I don't know Carlos but I do know Armando and this was from him. I don't know any others, sorry. Jean
  3. My sister and I have sailed a few times in balcony cabins on the Spirit. We have the beds separated. They split down the middle from large double to two singles. The one nearest the balcony goes against the end of the couch. Then a small bedside table then second bed against the bathroom wall. It was fine for us. There was enough space to get between them and we are big people. Teenage boys will be fine with the space they will be out most of the time anyway.
  4. Four years ago I was taken ill with pneumonia whilst on Norwegian Spirit. I was taken to a Spanish Public Hospital in Malaga and given emergency care, chest x-ray, ECG, cannula, oxygen therapy. Once stable a few hours later I was moved by ambulance to a private facility as I had travel insurance. The EEC reciprocal agreement entitles the same care as a local person would get. Nothing more, insurance pays for other things.Hopefully the lady has insurance to cover the extras. I had few problems with the medical staff, my doctor spoke good English and so did the administrator. NCL Customer Care in Miami called me every day to see how things were and was there anything they could help with. The family on the ship need to be talking with the people in Guest Services on board the ship and also with the insurance company. They are the people who help not the folks on a forum.
