psbfan01 Posted November 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in Cozumel that is open for lunch that has outdoor dining? We would try Pancho's Backyard but we will not be in that area of San Miguel. We'll be further into town. Does La Choza have outdoor dining by chance? Rare Oviedo32765 Posted November 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Here's a link that will get you started: http://www.cozumelvillas.com/dining.html Five of the restaurants specifically list outdoor dining, although the photos show many more that have some form of outdoor seating. rjjjcj Posted November 28, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2011 We were at La Choza in 2009 & there is no outdoor seating. In fact the new building (since the fire) is kinda bland and "cafeteria"ish". But the food is still delicious!
Tanker4 Posted November 28, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Try Casa Denis. The oldest restaurant in Coz. They have outdoor seating in the front but ask to be seated in the rear courtyard (where most of the locals sit). Secluded and quiet. The food is authentic and great also.:)

BethCarp Posted November 29, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2011 The Money Bar was fantastic! It was open air under a huge palapa, plus there was seating right on the beach/seawall out in the open. Not sure on location. We were at the southern (royal caribbean) pier and it was little ways south from there. We arrived via boat with a snorkeling tour, so not sure exactly how long it would take to drive there.
