How do you get the alcohol package for groups... I read where there is a work around for this...now Carnival is telling me it's not available for groups.

Carnival's official position is the card is only available to "Corportate" Groups.

 

So you need to find such a group or find a TA who is willing to set such a group up.

They are a group...but not a "corporate" group....but read on these boards there is a work around... and one of the host knows about it:D

I'm interested too - I want to put together a group cruise revolving around a favorite local musician. Carnival has been less than helpful on all fronts - essentially telling us that we can't even apply for group space for him to play until we have deposits from a large number of cabins. It's hard for me to get people to sign on if I can't promise them the music OR unlimited booze. NCL and Royal have been sooo much more helpful - I just don't like them half as much.

EVERY one MUST purchase the drink package-- and you do need a minimum amount of people.

 

Last I checked into this-- it was over 350pp more to purchase the drink card.

No sharing- if caught sharing everyone loses the priviledge.

The cost is $55 per person per day inclusive of Gratuities.
