Did the Upgrade Fairy just visited?

I'm 5 days away from my cruise on the Allure this coming Sunday, and just check in to print my documents, and noticed that I have been moved from a Category M Cabin on the Deck 3 to a Category L cabin on Deck 11 near the front.

 

Would this be consider an upgrade?

I wouldn't consider that an upgrade since both are inside rooms.

 

Being near the front would be a negative for me, although deck 11 gets you closer to the pool decks if that is where you spend most of your time.

The cruiseline considers higher decks to be better....I prefer being in the center of a deck, near stairs and elevators.

 

The room they moved you to will be identical to the one your had...both are the same size.

So I suppose this is a case where the Upgrade Fairy visited but did not sprinkle enough pixie dust?

 

I'm with the other posters, I'm not necessary "thrill" with this upgrade, but that's what I get for setting my C&A Online Profile to Auto Upgrade.

Personally I think its a better location. Deck 3 is underneath the Casino, Nightclub, Studio B area and could potentially be loud.

 

I sailed in a forward cabin on the Oasis on deck 8 and found it to be nice, no movement, and very easy to access everything!
