ans678 Posted November 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Hello everyone, I am booking a cruise for several people. I am having some issues with the whole "legal name" thing with the people who have a foreign passport. So their passports includes several last names. It includes their original 2 last names plus their married last name if they are female. Giving me a total of 3 last names. Then their permanent resident card (green card) list their married name + only one of their maiden last names. Example- Passport: Marie Stacey Flower Pot, Married: Basket Green Card: Marie Stacey Flower de Basket What name do I use to book the Cruise? Can I just use Marie Stacey Flower? Will I be OK using one last name only (their married last name) and ignoring all others? Yes, I made up the name. :p I also have other people with even more last names! and I am just writing in the first two, is that ok? :( Thanks for your help! cherylandtk Posted November 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2011 On this one I would call up the cruise line and ask specifically using the names on the passport and green card.
FTLcruisers Posted November 30, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2011 name on booking must match name on passport so you may have to enter several last names.
ans678 Posted November 30, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted November 30, 2011 I called the cruise line and they told me that I would be OK just using her married name as long as it appears on both documents.:) Also, they told me it is also impossible fitting in all the last names for the others so using 2 is OK.
