I just looked through all the fun times, and cannot find "The Great Game Show" If you are thinking of Game Show Mania, I did not attend as it was always during our dinner time. Sorry. You will have a great time. Wish I had one booked.
Yankeegirl Posted January 17, 2012 #78 Share Posted January 17, 2012 Naomi John ~ Do you happen to remember if there was a kiddie pool on board? My little boy is potty trained so he can go in the regular pool but sometimes he is a little apprehensive about getting in a deep pool.

The Aft hot tubs and pool state for children only. The pool is about 3 feet deep. And the hot tubs are not hot.

Naomi John Posted January 18, 2012 Author #83 Share Posted January 18, 2012 Nice review and pics! We once celebrated New Year's aboard Elation and I'm glad the 'ole gal is still keeping folks happy. :) She is. I really enjoyed the Ship. After being on the Carnival Fantasy after the Water Park upgrade, I was very surprised DD enjoyed the pool and smaller slide, but she did. I do miss the Cigar Bar, but I do understand why the changes were made.

Not staying in a suite so no balcony.

Please help!!!!!!! by the way your pictures are beautiful. You stated "ports" I would say Progresso is the place to shop, but take the bus into town, if you can barter well, this is the place. It is also a great place to catch a bus to Mayan Ruins. I also enjoyed the double decker bus tour, it's $3.00 pp. Cozumel, you can take a Taxi to San Miguel, (downtown), and shop, there are several beaches to hang out. I would recommend looking at the Ports of Call Threads found on this board for further suggestions. Will be on the Elation in a couple of weeks... Just curious where exactly cigar smoking is permitted? Not staying in a suite so no balcony. First, as I said, no smoking anywhere until the ship leaves port, and from about 8 AM on debarkation day. It has something to do with how the ship is fueled. Smoking is allowed in the Jeckyll and Hyde Club, (as long as Camp Carnival is not there), and a section of the Casino while playing. Cigars are only allowed Starboard side, Deck 10. On the fourth night of our cruise, (Cozumel), there was a "Mojitos and Cigars Under the Stars" event at the FWD Lido Bar. Naomi John Posted January 20, 2012 Author #87 Share Posted January 20, 2012 Thanks for your review. I love the Elation and will cruise on her again in 131 days :D Thanks. I love the smaller Fantasy Class ships. I thought I would miss Carnival Fantasy, but the Elation for just the same, except for no waterworks AFT. It was not missed.
