marym933 Posted December 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2011 Eventhough it is a very foggy Florida morning, the repositioning of the Paradise is now complete. http://cam01.hillsboroughcounty.org/user/JViewer.html Click on Channelside on the control function to see her. SkyMaster Posted December 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2011 Happy to see our "new ship" made it,but REALLY hate to lose "Inspiration". WOW, we've had many GREAT cruises aboard that ship, and look forward to many, many more aboard "Paradise". "SKY"
clearwatergirl Posted December 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 12, 2011 I remembered the Paradise was arriving today. I drive on I4 through the area everyday. Well, the fog was so bad, I didn't get a peak at her. Hopefully, I'll see her on my way home. Will miss the Inspiration. Most likely will wait till paradise has completed dry dock before booking a cruise. heard she was kinda "tired".
Captain Carnival Posted December 12, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 12, 2011 Funny seeing a Fantasy Class ship without the water works slides in the back. I hope she "perks up" too (By Oct 2012).
FlaParrotHead Posted December 12, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 12, 2011 Yes, while we tried to "Occupy Paradise" and not let them bring her into port, we finally relented. The 14-day transit was probably the best sailing I have had with a crew/staff that went over and above in every area. We met great new friends (both from CC and others) and enjoyed more relaxation than the law should allow. It is nice to live 20mins from port though. Now back to reality though -- ugghh! crusinpsychRN Posted December 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted December 12, 2011 All I see are shots of downtown. Prices on Paradise seem higher.
marym933 Posted December 12, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted December 12, 2011 All I see are shots of downtown. Prices on Paradise seem higher. That's because she has already sailed out. Check again on Saturday, December 17. She'll be back from her 5 day to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. She should be going under the Skyway Bridge about now! tlw440 Posted December 13, 2011 #8 Share Posted December 13, 2011 She was our first and got us hooked on cruising, we sailed on her when she was smoke free and sailing 7 days out of Miami. Our first 3 cruises was on the Paradise, a great ship. We look forward to sailing on her again.
