Teppanyaki

We debated eating there for $25pp. We ended up reading the daily paper inserts and found they were having a lunch special for half price so we went. The show was fun and the food was great, but I don't think I'd go again for $25. Once was enough.

Do you know if they do this daily? DS loves this food and I would much rather have lunch there verses dinner. Also, Do you need to make reservations for lunch?

If you've never done one before it's worth the try. Or if your with a large group and want sort of your own place. But having done it once was enough for me. I'd rather go to Lebistro or Cagneys for the $25.

Agreed!

We enjoyed it. The food was good and there was lots of it. The chef made a little bit extra of everything, so even if you didn't order something you got to try it. I ordered the chicken and shrimp but also ended up with a few scallops and some beef as well.

We had a great time talking to the people around us as well. I thought the price was just right as it was comparable to the same type of restaurant on land. If it had been more than $25 we might have given it a pass. I would eat there again.

On the Teppanyaki subject:

-- The garlic fried rice --

Does anyone know if DH can hold the garlic?

Or is it already in it before they fry it up?

I think they can hold it as it starts as white rice and everything else is cooked into it. They made a point of asking about allergies and special requests while we were all being seated.

Lunch at Teppanyaki is only served on the last sea day (not daily), at regular price. (I was there this weekend on the Gem and many other times). If you have a good crowd it is a very fun place to eat and the food is delish...

And as stated above, the rice starts out white, so I presume the garilc can be held. They do use a garlic/butter already mixed, but they will make special if requested.

Safe sailing
