Arrow Fan Posted December 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2011 Apparently one of the retired Concord SST airliners is located at the airport here. Has anyone gone to see it and is it part of a simulation with access to the cabin etc?

The exhibit is housed in a large air-conditioned hangar -you'll be glad for the respite from the heat/humidity ;) Well worth the visit. Yes, you can walk all around her, underneath her then they take you up and inside, through the rear cargo-loading hatch and cargo bay - and forward thru the pax cabin, where you sit for awhile while they give you a short blurb ..after which you can take a look at the cockpit area now screened off (No Touching!) by a plexiglass barrier. I still got decent shots though.. see attachments .

rjscott Posted December 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2011 We also did "The Concorde Experience" on one of our visits to Barbados. We really enjoyed it. There are several exhibits in the hangar to visit prior to boarding the plane, and a video to view. My husband and I both thought it was very worthwhile. Here's the website: http://www.barbadosconcorde.com/
