Hello Everyone, just came back this past saturday (17DEC11) from my first Star Clipper cruise on board the Royal Clipper.

I have to say that the experience was great, much better than I expected it.

Let me know if any of you have a question now that my memory is still clear, hehehe.

Glad to say I met very nice people on board and had a great time.

Hi marvin -

We (me, my wife, my mother, and my sister) were also aboard the Royal Clipper last week. We had a great time. With only 145 passengers aboard, I'm sure we met; at least in passing.

This was my second cruise on the ship; my last one was a year ago. I was VERY pleasantly shocked that at least five of the crew remembered me! I always used to assume that crew members would say they remember you just to be nice. But on this cruise the crew would ask me first. One of the AB's even remembered a conversation we had had about computer passwords!

My only disappointment was that there wasn't a lot of wind for good sailing until the last night but wow, the sail from Martinique in 20-30 knots of wind was fabulous!

Aloha,

John
