Rita's Cantina question

Does the food at Rita's (Allure) resemble authentic Mexican food in any way or is it more like Tex-Mex (or worse)?

Tex-Mex. We were at Rita's Fiesta on the Allure this past Tuesday.

It wasn't bad. The salsa was definitely out of a jar.

 

The margaritas were yummy!

On Allure last November. Definitely not authentic Mexican. Would describe it a step above Taco Bell . Similar to what's offered on Chili's menu. The salsa is definitely out of jar.

We were at that Fiesta Too (Hi Smileyperry). If you want authentic Mexican, don't count on Rita's. Our table had something so hot the tastebuds needed some time to recover before we could taste anything else! We enjoyed the FIESTA more than the food. Although, the music was shattering the eardrums at times, we enjoyed 'dancing in the street' and other fiesta activities.

It was the green quesadillas! I had one bite and down nearly an entire margarita to cool myself off.
