Luggage tag with no cabin number?

DD sails on Saturday. She has a guarantee cabin that has not yet been assigned. If you preview luggage tag it just says "TBD". I am hoping she will have a cabin before they fly out but perhaps not. I am sure Carnival has a method, but does anyone know how they handle luggage without a number?

At the cruise port the porters can find out.

 

Have her bring a bold sharpie to write the cabin number in.

The porters will have the list. They even have tags. They'll look at the list, fill out the tag, attach it to the luggage and all's good.:cool:

She doesn't need her luggage tags before she flys. Also, they don't need to be color-coded, they can be printed in black&white. If her cabin number is not assigned until she gets to the pier, the porters should have a master list of last-minute cabin assignments.
