Just found out there will be 6 ships in port. Yikes has this happened to other cruisers ? How bad is it walking around town? Catching the bus etc?

Just found out there will be 6 other ships besides us. WOW That is alot of people.

Six or seven ships if rather normal in peak season. Things do get hectic in town as passengers return to the tender piers in the afternoon for the ride back to the ships.

There were 6 ships in port when we visited Grand Cayman last May. The port area was VERY hectic. We rented a car and headed around the east end of the island, following a Frommer's driving tour away from the "tourist" areas. We ended up at Rum Point, which wasn't busy at all. I'm not sure what the west side of the island looked like with all those people. The one thing I will say is that the lines for the tender boats were VERY long when we returned to the ship in the afternoon. It took us about 45 minutes to get on the tender boat. Make sure you get back to port in plenty of time.

Only question I have is: How accurate this is how far out. Another site shows 5 ships total. ?????

Being that this is the Cayman Port Authority web site I would think it would be pretty accurate. I hope so since it shows only three ships in port on the day we're there :D

Just read that there will be a total of 6 ships in port in Grand Cayman when we are there, wow that is a ton of people!

According to the schedule The Glory will be in port April 3 and it also says April 6th?? We are suppose to be in Roatan on April 6th. What is the deal?
