MIA to Hyatt Pier 66 Transportation

We are flying in Pre-cruise to MIA and staying at the Hyatt Pier 66 in FLL pre-cruise. Any suggestions on transportation from the airport to the hotel? There are only 2 of us and we arrive in the afternoon on a Friday.

A rental car is probably your best bet. Avis is also located at the Pier 66, so returning is easy. I'm not sure if the hotel charges for parking, but if so, you can go there, check-in, and then if you feel like doing any shopping or going out for dinner somewhere not within walking distance, you can do that, then return the car so as not to pay for parking.
