Carnival Grand Caymen Dolphin Swim

We are trying to book dolphin swims for grand caymen, the cruise whip does not offer our picked out swim through dolphin discovery but if we try to book with them directly we are told we have to book through the cruise ship.

The thing is we want to just do a dolphin swim we don't want to play with the stingrays or turtles after.

Does anyone know if the royal swim will be offered through the glory in GC?

If we say we are from a hotel on the island will they find out we came from a cruise ship and cancel us? And if they cancel us will they refund our money?

Usually the cruise ship books all the spots at a discounted rate, which the operator loves because they dont have to worry about selling spots for those days.

So even if you stayed at a hotel you couldnt book. You can shoot them an email and ask, worst case they just tell you to they are booked solid for that day.

I had already confirmed availability for the day. If I choose a Royal Caribbean or NCL ship it would allow us to book. Just not Carnival :(

I'm really considering just booking it as a hotel guest but I'm worried about getting found out and cancelled and losing the money.

I would be more worried about missing Grand Cayman...since its a tender port its often too windy to call on the port.

If you decide to do it on your own check out the cancellation policy, because I imagine they want full payment in advance

Good call! Don't think we could get our money back for missing the port if we tell them we're from a hotel!

I'm guessing we might just have to suck it up... We just really wanted to just swim with no other critters.

I don't like turtles and my when I was telling my cousin about the sting rays he looked at me and said "No." and I asked why and he said "I have two words for you: STEVE IRWIN"
