Suite priority disembarkation

For the priority disembarkation, you meet the concierge at a set time and then you're the first group off. If you don't do this, then you can leave at any time after that. It's either priority or with everyone else.

Thanks for info. About what time do you meet the concierge and do you have to carry your luggage?

We are also trying to get the time set for the pickup.

I know as suite passengers we get priority disembarkation, but do we have to leave immediately or can we tell the concierge about what time we want to leave? I am trying to setup our pickup. Thanks

Every cruise I have been on the concierge will have two set times to escort VIPs off the ship. One first thing and one at a more reasonable hour. That is not to say you can not request a specific time but that will vary by concierge. The biggest advantage of being escorted you avoid the line waiting to get off the ship. Normally out a different door and right to security to scan you off the ship.

You can pick your time but if its close to when she is escorting the main group off you may need to adjust.

We go have breakfast in which ever specialty Rest. and the concierge usually finds us there and asks when we want off then we pick a time and off we go . ;)

Priority disembarkation means indeed you have to assemble on a certain place on the ship at a certain time and then - as a group - you will be escorted off the ship. Your luggage is will be taken from your suite, for you to collect in the terminal. This makes this perk less interesting, because it means you are not very flexible and for us it takes too long. However, the GV and the DOS have an individual escort off the ship, whenever you want. Not sure about the OS, though. This is our experience on the various Jewell Class ships.

On the Sun a couple of weeks ago, the first escort was with your luggage and the second was later and you picked up your luggage in the terminal. I think the meeting time was 8:30 for checked luggage but I am not positive. If you want early and to carry off your own, I think taking the escort is a good idea. The line up is usually very long of people anxious to get off first and you can avoid it. One of the un-advertised perks for the non-US folks, is that suite guests got priority at the advance custom clearance - we had to discreetly mention it when we were checking in, and then were called first.
