tartan cruiser Posted December 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Just booked the 1/28 Millie that stops at Falmouth. Trying to decide between the Falmouth walking tour and the Hope Plantation tour. Anyone done either of these? How far is the Plantation? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Have a Happy New Years' Eve!
Rare Lois R Posted January 1, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Hi,:) I am going 2 weeks before you (also on Millennium) and it is my first time to Falmouth. Celebrity offers 6 pages worth of excursions but I can't decide what to do either:eek:. I have been to Ocho Rios tons of times but this is a new port. I usally love sightseeing tours but not sure which to do this trip! Happy New Year to you as well:)
tartan cruiser Posted January 1, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Hi Lois, I know what you mean about Ocho Rios. Have gone to Dunn River Falls and other tours around that area but this one is new to me, also. Dave did such a good job reviewing his cruise and the pictures he posted of Falmouth help give a little flavor of the area. His review is what sealed our choice to do a B2B. He suggested booking some type of tour.I guess that's why I'm a little unsure of the walking tour. Doesn't look like there is a whole lot to see and the Hope plantation tour,on your own ,is sold out online. Have to wait to get on the ship to book this one. Roll call isn't very active either. Would appreciate an update when you return on what you decided to do. Since we're doing the B2B we plan on doing beach activities in the other ports so would like something different in this port. Good luck picking an excursion. Looking forward to hear what you decided to do. Enjoy your cruise and Happy New Year.

Anyone done either of these? How far is the Plantation? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Have a Happy New Years' Eve! Me again,:) I am continuing to look at tours and 2 more stand out to me. One is the Glass Bottom boat/Doctor's Cave beach and the other is Falmouth/Montego Bay sightseeing. I am considering both. I have seen some photos of the beach and it looks lovely and the boat sounds interesting too. Decisions!
