5Stringer Posted January 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2012 What's my best way to keep in phone contact back home in Canada from the Caribbean? It seems my carrier (Rogers) has no good plan, the ships phone costs are prohibitive, so besides buying a calling card at each port I stop at, is there a calling card I can use that is good at all ports, or does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks,

Thanks, WiFi, Skype and/or Viber. WiFi from the ship (using their Internet rate$) and WiFi from the nearest spot once docked. The crew always know the best spots.
