dn6482 Posted January 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2012 I need to take water for my 10 month olds formula. Can I pack the water bottles in his luggage? Do you think it will be confiscated? Should I put a note in the luggage the water is for his food? I'm a little stress over it. Please help!
cb at sea Posted January 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2012 No need to stress! The ship's water is fine. Or, you can bring water if you feel you must. Most ships don't care about bottled water. You don't have to specify what it's for. Once a baby starts moving about on its own, sterility isn't really needed....they are touching all kinds of germy things all the time, and by doing so, enhance their immune system!!! dn6482 Posted January 9, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Thank you! Do you think I’ll have a problem taking the formula and water off the ship in Cabo?
JinxyB Posted January 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2012 I took on a gallon of nursery water and formula and had no questions asked coming on and off the ship. Have fun!
dn6482 Posted January 9, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Thank you so much :) I have plans to hang out during the day at Tabasco beach Restaurant and The Sand Bar. Do I have to take a water taxi to get there? I'm a little worried taking my 10 month old and 4 year old getting on the water taxi. I remember last time they didn't have us wear life jackets. Should I be concern? For sure we'll ask the driver to skip the tour and just take us directly to the resort.
lgionet Posted January 9, 2012 #6 Share Posted January 9, 2012 We always bring a case of bottle water with us (we carry it on)
parrotthead Posted January 9, 2012 #7 Share Posted January 9, 2012 (may depend on the line, but) the bottled water that is avaiable on the ship is reasonably priced IMO. its like $4 for a liter bottle.
B_Mc Posted January 9, 2012 #8 Share Posted January 9, 2012 We just bought bottled water from the line (RCI), but we were also flying so bringing our own was out of the question!
TheCalicoCat Posted January 10, 2012 #9 Share Posted January 10, 2012 When we travelled we used the already made formula - complete with nipples. TSA scrutinized it... (I did not want to worry about washing bottles, etc.)
