RedLightVegas Posted January 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Going on a 2 day cruise to the Bahamas on Jan 27th on the Miracle. Just had a coupla questions since I've never been on a cruise this short. We literally just booked this yesterday. Do they still do a muster drill on a 2 day? There's no formal night on these is there? Is is pretty much all bells and whistles of any cruise just 2 days long? The shortest I've been on was a 3 day over Thanksgiving and I doubt I ever do that again. Also the room we have is a french door obstructed view room, does anyone that's had this room know if the doors open? Or are they just faux doors? firefly333 Posted January 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2012 The doors should open, with the exception of HC cabins. usually not a problem. Yep, still do muster. sorry All the same bells to me. Just have to pack more into 2 days of fun.
cdamion Posted January 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Anything less than 4 days I don't even worry about paying for an outside cabin anymore. I did the first time I was on a 3 day and discovered I spend hardly any time in the cabin except when Im asleep. Longer the cruise, more the cabin type matters to me. CruisinFamily_3 Posted January 12, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Yes. the doors do open. If you click on the link in my signature I have pics of the french door cabin and the view. We were in 4130 which was obstructed. It was really nice to have fresh air and daylight in the room. We loved it. Have a great time!
